Any Week Now...

3 1/2 weeks left to go until the due date of baby girl Larson!! This means starting on Thursday, I could have her at 37 weeks and she would be totally good to go. Unfortunately, I don't think she's coming any time soon, she seems to be content where she is and I'm just going to count on her coming close to on time. A few weeks ago at my doctor's appt. he said she was pretty small and he thinks if I go full term then she'll be about 7 lbs. which I am good with!!! However, I have grown A LOT in the past few weeks so we'll see about his guesstimation. Luckily if I go over my due date 4 days I will be induced because my COBRA health insurance ends May 31st (perfect timing, right?) so I need to be in and out of the hospital for sure by that date so it is covered by that amazing teacher insurance that I've had. So... the point is I will not be prego for more than 4 more weeks max!!!
We are getting so excited for her to come. She is moving like a crazy lady in there, is getting REALLY strong, and definitely thinks she can kick and poke and knee her way out of me! She still gets hiccups AT LEAST once a day, her max per day so far has been 4 times. I'm pretty sure she is still head down which means at this point (thank goodness) she's probably not about to turn. As far as names go, we seriously won't know until we meet her. We have a few in mind, but can't/won't decide until she's here. Andrew and I are both pretty stinkin' undecisive so the name thing should be pretty interesting... hopefully we'll figure it out not too long after she's here.
It's interesting how when you're prego everyone you see has the same first question for you: how are you feeling? Well, to answer that question I've felt totally normal/perfect/wonderful until about 1 week ago. Lately it is definitely hard to sleep, only because I have a constant back pain that never goes away. I guess I'm just getting prepared for her to come and keep me up all night!! But it's all good, I have seriously had THE EASIEST pregnancy, so I really have no complaints. Also, funny quick fact: Andrew has thrown on some sympathy pounds for me, I've gained 23 so far and he's gained 15!! I thought all that symphathy pound junk was just a myth, but I guess it really happens. Anyway, I'll stop blabbering and post a pic from today at 36 1/2 weeks...

I'm so excited for you guys! You're getting ready to enter a whole new world! Once she's here it'll feel like she's always been here!

Don't worry about her name. It'll come to you. We don't find out if we're having boys or girls, so we take a couple of names with us. I feel like I have to see the baby and then I'll know what name fits. We thought Nathan was going to be a girl, so we didn't have any boy names! He wasn't named until he was 3 days old!

Hang in there girl, you're almost done!!! If bored, make cookies for the nurses or premake some freezer meals. They're W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L when the baby comes. Otherwise, just try to keep busy! I'm so excited!!! I love you and miss yer guts!!!

Make cookies for the nurses, Ashley? That is one thing that has NEVER even begun to cross my mind.
Lisa, I'm so excited for you!!!!! you are so cute. You'll figure out the name-you know the story of Ethan (ie, we thought Ella was coming). Thanks for bringing Stephanie Rodriguez, who came up with the name Ethan! We love the name-obviously. I'm so excited to see what your baby will look like, who's eyes she has, etc! I know one thing, between you and Andrew... she is going to be soooo pretty.
I love being in the hospital after my baby is born, they just baby YOU and bring you toast with jam and juice at 3am or whenever you want it. It's awesome, and I think their meals are really good too, (not like a cafeteria). It's all good. Love you girl, you're going to be a great mom!
